This is a piece that formed from nothing. The ashes from my cigarette fell onto a blank sheet of paper, and I couldn't resist the urge to rub it in and blend it around. One devoted "art cigarette" later, the Ash Frog had taken form, and just needed a touch of color.

Back in June, 2022, these two little critters caught my attention, making a racket in the underbrush and scratching along on the bark of the trees. After a few moments of searching, I found these two several feet up in the tree, looking right back at me.

This is my first piece done with pen. I enjoyed the detail work as opposed to the pieces I've been doing lately, more focused on color exploration. I'm going to make a few prints of this and colorize them, but I like this original piece remaining as ink alone.

An early, experimental painting, mainly trying my hand at mixing colors from the primaries alone. This was the first actual watercolor "painting" that I did since renewing my drive to create art.
